Our school believes the earlier non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students (NCS) learn Chinese, the faster they can adapt the local curriculum and assimilate into the society. The school encourages NSC students enrolled at our school as soon as possible for a total immersion of Chinese speaking environment, aiming to foster Chinese language learning.

Our school will hold cultural inclusive activities to enhance NSC students’ interest in learning Chinese. We will also make good use of the Education Bureau’s NCS education funding to establish various forms of learning activities, e.g., peers interaction for a more vibrant Chinese learning environment, curriculum adjustment, arrange teaching assistant to assist NCS students, and also arrange Chinese learning study group.

The school will also work closely with the school’s social worker for a better understanding of the NSC students and their family. We will also perform home visits for better support and backup for NSC families.
